Our Assisted Living Apartments contain 16 one bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a bedroom, handicapped accessible bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. The living room has a sliding glass door that leads outside directly to a sidewalk for exercise and fresh air. Extra storage is available in a closet in the hallway directly outside the apartments. The entire complex in on one floor. There are no stairs or elevators. The commons area within the apartment complex contains a dining area, and restaurant size kitchen, a laundry facility with three washers and dryers, a beauty shop, an exercise room with exercise equipment and a whirlpool, plus a craft room equipped with craft supplies and a kiln for ceramics.

Services provided are:

• 24 hours a day nursing staff on call.
• Emergency response through Vital Call System.
• Sprinkler system
• Inner connected smoke detectors
• Assistance with daily living tasks if needed (housekeeping, bathing, and laundry)
• Nursing services
• Medication administration
• 3 meals a day
• Transportation and organized social and recreational programs on site and in the community

Assisted Living Apartment Rates

Please note: First and last months rent must be paid up front.

Standard Monthly Rent includes heat, electric, satellite TV, garbage pick-up, sewer, water, public laundry, parking and medical alert pendant.

Service Fee Schedule
SKILLED NURSING (LPN/RN) $40. per hour Skilled Nursing available per physician orders, including medication administration, and referral assistance	LAUNDRY SERVICE $1. per load plus staff time Convenient public laundry facilities are available to all K Care Assisted Living Residents
NURSING ASSISTANCE (NA) $30. per hour NA care is charged to the nearest tenth of an hour for assistance with the activities of daily living: bathing, dressing and other services as requested. HOUSEKEEPING $30. per hour One hour of housekeeping per week is included in our basic Assisted Living Package.	PERSONAL SUPPLIES Individually Priced K Care maintains an inventory of most Senior Care personal supplies, which are made available to residents
VITAL CALL EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICE $25. per call $40 per hour billed after first 10 minutes to the closest tenth of an hour, until assistance is no longer needed	TRANSPORTATION $48. per trip Our Staff is available for setting appointments, and door-to-door transportation service Weekly Shuttle Service to 70 West Shopping Center at no cost to Resident.
